Rhino’s on his own now

such a perfect day for leaving rhino town

and all his rhino friends has showed up to tell

his thick skin will serve him well

 

have you ever heard of rhino fear

have you ever seen a rhino tear

and fly to heaven’s end

 

Rhino’s got a fresh pair of ears

eating raw, all the bullshit being served

suddenly stomping ‘round on unknown ground

and there’s no use in being king of land

when you’re drowning

 

he’d never felt the rhino fear before

he’d never tasted the rhino tear before

 

he thought it all would be so beautiful

he never dreamt of being unsuitable

 

so run till you’re sore

and fight till you can give no more

they’ll smell you, track you down

and take you, bury you six feet underground

so go little friend, and fly to heaven’s end

The rain is beating down your backyard

but I am safe in your window sill

watching winter turn to summer

watching the daylight grow dim

 

your head rests heavy on the pillow

and your face speaks of foreign lands

you’re so beautiful when you’re sleeping

and I’m so close to giving in

 

but some words are better left unspoken

some stories a better untold

between the lines, it’s written

the most beautiful poetry of all

 

and as I lay myself beside you

all is quiet not a sound

a can nearly hear your heartbeat

I can hardly hear you breath

so I close my eyes

Mad show

Midnight’s creeping in, I’m sleeping, dreaming

strange but beautiful somehow

and all that’s left of you

is a white piece of hipbone in my hand

what is there to understand?

 

and suddenly my bloodstream runs cold

and I’ve become broken by breaking it down

and it feels like I’m loosing myself in this mad show

it feels like I have to run away

believe me life sometimes is stranger than fiction

believe me that stranger’s been you, for a long time

 

so there I was, everything being stunningly surreal

the wheel keeps spinning, somehow

and doors are creaking, animals spealing

faces from the past, the present, the future and so on

 

and suddenly my bloodstream runs cold

and I’ve become etc….

 

many nights I’ve been awake

wondering when will this bubble burst

but babe, you are not the first to haunt me

 

and it feels like I’m loosing myslef in this mad show

it feels like etc…....

 

 

Fade away 

Whenever you take and you drag, you push and you nag

no matter how hard you try

there’s always a someone, there’s alays a one

ready there to push you down

 

so I fade away

 

Black cat, silly hat, backstabbing maldito

there are places I wish you’d burn

but I’m not the bright one, I am not the brave
